La 11 iulie 2011 s-a desfasurat, la Bruxelles, reuniunea Consiliului de coordonare a Forumului UE-R.Moldova, avand drept scop inventarierea activitatilor realizate, stadiul proiectelor in desfasurare si pasi in continuare pentru promovarea activitatilor Forumului in 2011 si 2012.
The participants, representatives of different non-governmental organisations and institutions from both EU and Republic of Moldova, agreed to organise the workshops on visa dialogue and DCFTA in the second part of this year and Maria Chican, as coordinator of the Forum, was entrusted to make the appropriate arrangements for their good preparation. The work for constituting experts' databases will continue. Urgents steps must be taken also to ensure a wider visibility of Forum activities not only through the facebook page, but also through a dedicated website, that should include useful resources on selected topics, lists of experts in different domains, planned activities and results, business information, a private platform for discussions between its own members.
Future ideas or proposal on activities to be organised could include organizing study visits from Moldova to Brussels for different categories of people (businessmen, politicians, students etc.); study visits for the MEPs in Moldova to better understand the situation on the ground, Partnership Fairs on different topics, facilitating contacts for the EU Information Centres in Moldova, position papers in support of Moldovan civil society that could be presented during the next EaP CSF in November 2011.
