August 19, 2008 - at the invitation of Paneuropa and St. Miron Foundation, Bucharest, Delia Diaconescu, a young but reputed Romanian violinist, now in Verona, Italia, for a stage of musical perfection, performet at the end of the International Camp of Creation "Art as Life", which took place in Galaţi, in the period of 10 to 20 August 2008, at the Museum of Visual Arts. The artist played pieces by J.S. Bach, H.Wieniawski and N.Paganini.
On the same occasion, Paneuropa Foundation offered Diplomas of Excellency to Dan Basarab Nanu, director of the Museum of Visual Arts, Galati, for "his activity dedicated to the promotion, encouragement and support of the artistic creation" and to Gheorghe Miron, plastic artist and custodian, Museum of Visual Arts, Galati, for "his notable contribution to the promotion of artistic creation and for the good organisation of the International Camp of Artistic Creation "Art as Life".
